Solaris / IPMP

IPMP – basically allows for failover between two solaris network interfaces (Active/Passive with the first/primary interface being always active where possible – this can lead to a situation where the VIP might flap between interfaces)

# cat >/etc/hostname.bge0 <EOF
serverx-pri netmask + broadcast + \
group Team-VLAN007 deprecated -failover up \
addif serverx netmask + broadcast + failover up
EOF
# cat >/etc/hostname.bge1 <EOF
serverx-sec netmask + broadcast + \
group Team-VLAN007 deprecated -failover up
EOF

You’ll need to make sure all the usual network options are correct – and restart the interfaces.
